North Dakota call center?

Postby Cucumber » Thu Jan 29, 2009 2:14 am

Amex is closing their customer service call center in North Dakota. I didn't even know they had a call center there! It said something like 64 employees it wasn't huge or anything but I didn't know they had one there. Don't they have some call center or some kind of big operation somewhere in Florida too? I think it might be for mailing payments too though. I know I remember seeing an "FL" address a lot on my history so far with Amex.
Stop talking crap about him!

It depends on which end of the business they did customer service for. It wasn't for credit cards as far as I know. It could have been gift cards, traveler checks, corporate travel, etc. Lots of things could have been in an office that small.

They probably condensed that call center into one of the larger ones since it was smaller. I feel bad for the job losses but it would make sense for Amex to do from a business standpoint.
