No us residents can get idc centurion. Just need bank reference

Do that! Would be interesting to see if they can hook you up like that since that would also dilute the prestige. Let us know how it goes.

Yes, some invites have gone out, but the criteria is supposedly quite high. I personally know of someone who spent more than $2.5M last year who still cannot get a invite. Perhaps their mysterious mystique marketing is working.

Having the card is fun indeed, and some of the benefits are nice if you travel often, but overall it's not worth it and I wouldn't do it again, but I might as well keep it since I have the sunk cost of the initiation fee and maybe there's hope that in 2013 the *might* actually introduce a new and useful benefit (rather than keep shrinking benefits, which they have done and may continue to do).

I agree the benefits have been reduced and kind of not a good financial decision. However I can spare the cash so like any other luxury decision.
