If you have enough resources to dish out 20k for a titanium card, then I'm sure you could manage the spending necessary for a legitimate invitation.

Trying to barter your way into the card really diminishes the allure of an invitation only/exclusive club for those that are already card members.

Get the Platinum card, go buy luxury items and wait.

Incorrect. Public records are not shared, and you could always call AmEx demanding removal of the credit line. Deleting any bad data.

Never thought the card to be as powerful as it is... until you have one. I am totally enjoying using mine.
