No, I lived in Colorado at the time. They sent pre-approvals to me and several relatives. They offered a great intro balance transfer rate. I actually had two Fleet cards at one time. The first I closed and it reported up until last month as BAC/Fleet. The other one, with the Smart Chip, was sold to CMS/E*Trade Bank (even though I had closed it). Both have since fallen off my bureaus as they have been closed for 10 years.

Up until they sold off to BofA, Fleet had become the 9th or 10th largest credit card issuer in the US. Didn't have to have a checking account with them to have a credit card.

Yeah? Good to know. I just really feel that their annual fee charge cards should come standard with them.

Ah, I didn't know Fleet was so popular outside the Northeast. They were a better bank before the takeover (more regionally focused), but the rewards on the Visa card are better now, and the same-day ATM deposits up to 8pm ET are very cool. Now if they can just get remote deposits happening....

You call ICC for it, not regular customer service. Simply state you want an ICC in Euros, and you'll get it.

Yes, as it is a completely new card/account.
