When I received my package, it came with the titanium card and a plastic one too. Told it was so I can separate my personal and business charges if I want.

More likely they just are issuing the plastic one to not set off the metal detectors at airports. That is always quite interesting, explaining you have credit cards of palladium and titanium and not a bomb.

I hate the hassle and as much fun as it would be to tell them it's my credit card, I'll pass. I just put my wallet inside my coat and place the whole damn lot inside the X-ray machine.

You sir must not fly very much. I demand a supervisor, and hand it to him personally. I then present him with my business card and tell him I may be old, but I am more than capable of depriving him of every asset he can think of if even a dollar is missing.

I never trust the TSA flacks to handle my goods properly and with care.

:D you are not one to mess with!

I guess living in Canada and being Canadian has made me soft.

I've got a flight next week to a site. I'm going to walk my wallet thru and have some fun.

Nope Canadian one. I find out security guys all LAME. But what do you expect? These are minimum wage jobs which basically teach them how to deal with beeps and blinking lights.

They are not too bright. Let me tell you of a personal experience I had. I was requested to go thru secondary screening and was asked if I wanted a patdown or to use the body scanner. I for one don't like to be touched (except if it's by a hot young blonde) so obviously it was on to the scanner! :) Came out and the dude at the other end got a message from the control room to check my RIGHT pocket.

It was a long night closing a deal so I was tired and instinctively pulled out the wad of cash in my left pocket. He looked at it and said to the guy in the other end "it's cash". I was waved thru and off I went to the lounge. It was not til I got in I realized he said RIGHT pocked not LEFT. I had a pack of gum inside the right pocket which I didn't show them.

With this, I realize these rental cops are really no good!

Besides, they are so strict with bringing in metal objects like nail cutters and pocket knives. I understand and agree this is for our own safety BUT CMON PEOPLE... everytime my meal is served in the plane, I get REAL CUTLERY... which includes a KNIFE. What the hell people..... are you telling me people who want to do harm on a plane are that dumb and don't realize if you ride first class you get knives and other things given to you?

I shake my head at the people who develop these policies. Sad but true... seems like a lot of the hassels we face today travelling is just a false sense of security.
