2011. If it doesn't call them up and tell them you'd like it to have your original member since date.

Thanks. Another Q, if I cancel now and get a new card years later, can it still say 2011?

Since 1999. I remember it was a Platinum card, but it had no annual fees. I'm not sure what happened to the Platinum program since the early 2000s. Then, I switched to Blue and now Blue Cash.

member since 2011. was a platinum member but downgraded to Gold. I feel that the canadian platinum has been downgraded to a degree that the admirals club lounges and the cathay pacific one world gold status are going to be discontinued in 2014. Abit pricey for a $699 card. I do miss it. lol. will see what benefits they add unless you guys can convince me its still worth it :ppp .

Member since '06 when I had just turned 21. I was heading off to a summer internship on the other side of the country and figured I should get a credit card. Got the Blue, was offered the PRG after a few months and took it then offered Platinum a few months after that and took that (canceled PRG). Canceled the Platinum after the first year as I got no use out of it's benefits as a college student. Fast forward to 2011 and I had been working a few years and I got the Zync, then PRG again (canceled Zync) and then finally the Platinum again (canceled PRG) as my girlfriend and I started taking a lot of vacations so the benefits really paid off.
