American Express free credit report & score for cardholders

Postby Regnohspf » Tue Apr 24, 2012 2:27 pm

So i pulled my credit report and score from the complimentary service from American Express and it gave me an Experian Plus score of 729. What is that in comparison with a FICO score? Mid 600's?

I have the financial pack (which is free) on my Zync card that gives me my credit report and score once a year and allows me to view it for 30 days. I think it might be free for all Amex owners. You can search it, type mycreditreport on the amex website search bar.

Cant really compare Experian Plus to Experian FICO. Could be higher or lower. Who knows. That's why they call it a FAKO.

It should also be mentioned it only shows an Experian score, not Transunion or Equifax (you have to pay extra to reveal information pertaining to those models). Not sure if it's a true FICO score either, but very accurate dates, length of credit, etc. Couldn't remember for the life of me a date of my first credit card- showed me when it was opened, to when it closed.

Available to those who have access to the Finance pack via Zync I believe. Free for 30 days, once a year annually.
Currently: American Express Blue Sky, American Express Zync, Chase Freedom Visa, Capital One Newcomers--->converted to Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard NO AF

Amex credit report is accurate. Experian plus score is worthless.
