New Canadian Amex Centurion Cardmember Q&A's

Postby FastSRT8 » Thu Apr 19, 2012 1:59 pm

Hi,

As a new Canadian Centurion cardmember, I have a few questions I hope fellow centurion members can answer.

  • I assume there are differences in benefits between Centurion card members from different countries. Can someone confirm and hopefully identify the differences?
  • Is it true the concierge can get a card member into exclusive clubs? I plan to visit Hong Kong in May and want to try this perk BUT don't want to look like an idiot either!
  • What is the worldwide membership count? Estimate??
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

This differs from country to country and card to card. In the case of UK, you have UK benefits and IDC/ICC benefits (issued by UK Amex). There are so many you would need to really compile a database from country to country.

Yes, you'll be able to get into exclusive clubs with Centurion. Just have the concierge make the arrangements.

Unknown membership worldwide. Larger in AU/HK/UK where rules are less strict on obtaining it. US rules were just tightened recently.
