Just received my personal centurion invitation last week. Comes in a small black box with a leather loop on top to open. Simply has a card inside saying u have been invited and a number to call. Initiation is now $7,500 plus $2,500 annually. Last year my Amex spend was $382,000. Called today. Said I should get my welcome kit in 2-3 days and have 20-30 min when I call to activate in order to sign up for all the benefits. Hope this helps!

WOW $7500 initiation fee, have they revamped the cent card with more benefits like they did with the platinum in many countries to justify the additional fee?

Mind asking what kind of expenditures. Rumor has it that they are looking for high spending in luxury spending such as nice hotels, restaurants, stores, jewelry etc. How does this theory match up to your expenditures?
Amex Centurion, Amex Platinum, Amex BCP 8k->24k (5/23/12), Amex TE 15k, Cap One 1.5% 15k->20k (8/7/13), CSP 25k, Chase Palladium 100k, Citibank AA 35k (AU), Firestone 1.8k->2.2k->2.4k (8/20/12), JFCU Jloc 30k, PenFed Plat Rewards 30k, SF Fire 30k, US Bank Cash+ 25k

Adding to other questions; how long have you been an Amex member? Rumor is that you need to be a Platinum member for at least a few years.

Do you know if there's a "member since" requirement to perhaps receive an invite?
