Forgot my buddy is a senior VP at AMEX now. He runs one of the card divisions. Wonder if I should hit him up for Cent. invitation. Think that would help? But hate to owe him an so desperate.

Worth a shot. But then he would have to vouch for you and if anything were to go wrong, he could potentially be embarassed. Guess it all depends on how good a friend he is.

I'm sure at his level he can make exceptions to the rule. It's just depends on how much he wants to.

Because they stopped issuing Cent. cards in US last year and "rumored" to be starting up again with few invitations going out no matter what qualifications. Also it kind of went downhill from too many members. I think Canada has its own program (as do most countries). Not sure if your benefits match up or better or worse than US. Also what was your initiation fee and annual fee?
