I posted my first thread
a few minutes ago in the "general CC talk" section. It may be worth referencing to answer the following questions.
Anyway, i have been reading on here for about an hour and have noticed that people are saying to "stay away" from and "not apply" for Amex cards unless their score is over 700. I have gotten three Amex apps in the last three months (two Green, one Gold).
My credit score as reported by Equifax was 671 as of Oct 25th, and 629 score as of last week. The issue of why that makes no sense in laid out in great detail on my other thread. (ie.. payed in full every month, on time, NO over limit spending etc.....) So my question is, why am i getting these apps in the mail if i have a low 600's score
(which i still think is bogus and my dispute)? Also, even though they are sending me these could i still be denied for them if i applied?
Any and all feedback about this
