Hey guys,

What kind benefits would you like to have being offered by AMEX?

Any new perks?

There are a lot of perks I would LIKE to have but I'm not sure they are reasonable to expect:

- Free airline lounge access domestically for all airlines (United is currently excluded)

There are also things I think they can do better that they actually currently offer:
- The entertainment access program is a great benefit but is essentially useless if you don't live in NY or LA. They should have things in more cities
- AMEX seems to think every platinum card holder shops at Nordstroms and Barneys. Many do I'm sure but I suspect most plats spend more at Walmart. I'd like to see them get off their high horse and do more promotions with mainstream retailers.
- They need to work on acceptance, especially with charities

I would like to see some double and triple rewards categories like the PRG card, and maybe some instant upgrades on hotel rooms and flights if space is available. There are currently hotel upgrades through the FHR program, but it has a very short list of eligible properties.

for cards that have annual fees we should have some kind of service for getting dining reservations. you know business men use the green, gold and gold rewards plus the airlines and hotel cards.

Picture this you are leaving Florida and flying to California the flight I think is a little over 6 hours. there's a 4 hour delay, so after you land you get to your hotel you check in all you want is a good dinner. what happens when all of the restaurants are booked, let's say theres a huge convention going on wouldn't it be nice if a green, gold or gpr member could get dining reservations?

I mean people use their cards for personal use like me. I wish I could get it on my green.
