Today I got my Everyday version of the Blue Cash in the mail

Postby shadowman024 » Tue Oct 18, 2011 4:32 pm

I just got the card today its nice looking, 22 apr 1k limit 0 percent for a year which is nice.
Experian pulled 645 according to the letter i got with the card.

I plan on keeping this card for at least 2 years before upgrading to prefferred. After 61 days can i call in a credit increase, i plan on spending alittle over 500 a month. So 3 k would be perfect to keep the utilization at under 20% I plan on not carrying a balance 22 percent would
eat up the cash back quick. I also have the zync so in a year i can decide which one i like more.

im excited considering everyone says amex credit cards are hard to get.
its a high apr but i don;t plan on having a balance. I really think i like the charge card more, im the kind of person that likes things simple and having just one card would be easier. Ill give it a year work out.

Congrats! I recently discovered I have a 728 Ex, so I'll probably shoot for this after some time passes (just applied/got approved for Chase Freedom). Let me know how your Blue Cash works out for you compared to the Zync!
Currently: American Express Blue Sky, American Express Zync, Chase Freedom Visa, Capital One Newcomers--->converted to Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard NO AF

At 22% you HAVE to use it as a charge card and pay it off in full every month, or the APR will sink you. If you revolve even a portion of the balance you essentially give up the grace period and pay interest on everything, and at 22% it will add up quickly.

congratulations. I agree with you give the card a year. I also like a premium card over a flexibility to spend overtime card.
