How long before you can re-apply for Amex after being denied?

ooxs you are correct. American Express targets people with excellent credit. But I feel their premium cards are harder to get than their lending credit cards.

I would think it's easier for the original poster to get a clear card than a Zync.

I certainly agree about suggesting a JCP charge card, they are supposed to be easier to get than bank card, but I have heard from store employees at Macys they can be hard to qualify for. I do like that suggestion though.

You could try for a Discover card or Chase Freedom. If this card doesn't work try for a Chase slate since you already have a Capitol1 card

You can try for a JCP or Sears card, along this line. Even gas cards would make sense from Citgo, Sunoco, Getty, Exxon Mobil. let us know what's happening.

So recently I wanted to buy a bike, so i applied for a trek credit card and i got approved, does this counts as a second credit card?

If it reports to the credit bureaus, it counts.
