amexguy321, no I flash the other black card at Lufthansa lounges (United GS). I am going to Munich in 2 weeks, I will try it then.

No you can't! Unless you give it to yourself as a business perk. Let me guess- you're an attorney and you use it for business.

yea bc the GS counts as the star gold... pls let me know how it turns out. just booked my flight to bahamas via us airways, they are always happy to see something black :)

Correct. This can be written off in many different ways, but in my case I write it off as a business expense.

For me I would not bother with the Centurion card, a Gold American Express Charge card would meet my needs enough. Not only that but where I live and work and not always good to get out an card like that. When I shop at supermarkets and the like I swipe the card quick in the hope that noone sees the sort of card I have.

I went for it as the card for me has purpose and is something I benefit from.

I will get one no matter what the price tag, for me, that's the bar...maybe if I decide to downgrade once I do, Platinum is a VERY good card nevertheless!
