Just Got Zync. 2 Questions-

Postby dk11 » Thu Feb 10, 2011 3:47 pm

1- for the initial 10,000 points with your first purchase, does that mean that I could literally just buy a can of soda my first week and get rewarded with the 10,000 points. Or does the charge have to have a bigger minimum?

2- can amex take away your points for little or no usage over a period of time even if the account is in good standing?

1) Any credit card purchase is fine and you will get the 10,000 bonus points, so yes a can of soda will count! Although it might take 1 billing cycle for the points to show up on your account.

2) The points will never expire with American Express.

have fun with the card!

I have 1 question for you and that is was the points reason for applying? I bet you it was. Did you ever stop to think why the credit card deals exist. It is the same as why fishermen put a worm on a hook. Now that you have biten the bait the debt will slowly pile up on the card, growing the balance bigger each month. The law of compound interest will entrap you to a no mans land thats unescapable. All that for a few points was it worth it my friend?
Cards: NONE!

Can't carry a balance on a Zync. It's a charge card.

bubble speaks the truth, his words of wisdom essentially cleared the mist (created by greedy elitist bankers) from my view and I have seen the truth and it is ugly! I have shredded all of my credit cards and withdrew all my money (~$1.5 million) from my various 4-5% interest-bearing checking/savings/private accounts and stashed the money under my mattress to only gain dust. bubble is truly a man of wisdom and should be respected among these forums!

lol just kidding, bubble is just a troll or perhaps delusional~
