4Runner, wondering if you were required to create 2 seperate online accounts since you have two charge cards? I have a PRG and Green and got an alert that I would have to create a new account when activating the Green.

No you will only need one account. Each time you go to activate a card with amex, there will be a section where you can choose to use your existing online account to activate a new card. Therefore you will only have one online account but you will be able to manage all your cards. For example I have 2 charge cards and a BCE. When I log in it lists all the cards I have with amex and im able to select each card individually and do as I please IE. check rewards, pay balance, etc.

Sure you can have multiple Amex cards. It seems to me that as long as you can make the respective annual fees and pay the bill on time Amex will give you as many cards as your financial resources will allow. I have 2 Amex cards 1) a standard Gold card for personal expenses and product protection and 2) a Business Platinum for all my business needs and travel. The MRs really do offset the AFs.
Cards:
American Express: Business Platinum-NPSL, Delta SkyMiles Gold-$2K
Chase: Sapphire Preferred-$5K, Southwest Airlines Visa-$3.7K, Freedom-$400
USAA: Platinum MC-$4K, Advantage Rate MC-$4K, Amex-$4K
FBNO: BucksBack Visa-$1K, Amex-$1.7K
GECRB: Walmart Discover-$3,7K
Barclays: Financing Visa-$3.2K, Juniper MC-$1.1K
Capital One: Platinum MC-$1.5K, Platinum MC-$750
CFNA: Firestone-$1.6K
CitiBank: Office Depot Business Card-$1K
