There was a notice on my last statement that come October the APR on my Simply Cash card is going to 8.99 + prime. Before the recession I had 0 + prime which was the lowest bracket. That lowest bracket became 3.99 + prime a year ago across the board, but now they're making it 8.99 + prime? That's awfully high for the lowest tier but what can you do.
