Close and roll CSP or PC to FU.

CSR not pointless and neither is its fat bonus!

i have been gardening for a long time now so no new apps for me. just product changes so im ignoring sign-up bonuses for the time being. other than that, yea, 100K bonus is a no-brainer for those who get it.

and i have CapOne Silver instead of FU which i am happy with, especially because CapOne doesn't harass me about income to credit ratio like Chase.

InkCash/Freedom/FU/SR combo = 2.25% back on general, 7.5% back on category.

I might PC my CSP to FU in January and add CSR in June.

Not sure if I'll cancel or PC any of my other AF cards.
Warranties and sketchy merchants: Schwab Platinum
Price rewind: Costco
Travel insurance: Prestige, CSP
Perks: IHG, Hyatt
Rewards/Offers: Discover, Freedom, ED, BCE
Taxes/Misc: SPG

Limited value, might close: Arrival

Might add: First Tech, proper business card

Do your own analysis based on your needs/wants.

We're hanging on to both until we've had a chance to determine if one is a better fit than the other. I suspect that it will be the CSR since we can get better value per UR point than we can with MR. That's one are where you need to do your own analysis, running the numbers for your spend and how you can redeem points with each program. The Centurion lounges are very nice but we're not finding ourselves frequently in airports that have them. One just opened up in our home airport but we rarely use lounges at our own airport. Never had problems fully utilizing the airline credit on the Platinum but the travel credit on the CSR seems to be a lot more flexible.

For redemptions for travel via the UR portal which is just one redemption option. People are fixating on the 1.5 cents via the UR portal for travel but need to do their own due diligence.

I think I'll be keeping my Platinum Card... Purely for sentimental purposes. I know it's foolish, that's why I'm having such a hard time accepting it . Haha!

AMEX has always treated me well... And I don't fly with United/Southwest.

I'm just hoping AMEX does something to keep current cardholders like they did when they lost AA lounges. I'm not expecting anything drastic... I understand they're able to fund all of the perks because of the poor earning rate... But double points on dining/travel would be nice!

I'll be keeping my Amex platinum

The service is the main reason Ive kept it all along anyway

I place the majority of my spend elsewhere and don't travel much thereby limiting the appeal of the CSR
