Moving limits between revolvers

Postby MemberSince99 » Sat Jun 04, 2016 7:40 pm

From what I read on MF, I figured this would be pretty straightforward.

It's not quite so. They would not allow me to move limit from one card to another because my accounts are too new on the revolvers.

I was rather surprised at that, but just wanted to put out the word that this can be an issue.

When I asked in 2015, the rule was 2 months for recipient card, 13 months for donor. I'm not aware of any change in that restriction.

It sounds like the only difference is that you don't need to call them...so it's purely an IT change.
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when
