American Express Cash Preferred Product Change

Postby Mountainmanduy » Thu Oct 08, 2015 3:08 pm

Hello all,

I have an American Express Cash Preferred. I was wondering if I could product change to the Old Blue Cash (5% at the supermarket uncapped) or the New Old Blue Cash (5% Capped) Thanks!

You cannot PC to an non existent defunct card.

You can only PC to the existing Blue Cash Everyday card.
Amex EveryDay, Amex BCE , Barclaycard Arrival+ WEMC, CSP Visa Signature, Discover it, Wells Fargo Propel 365 Amex

Just as the poster above me said, you can't product change to an old card anymore. You can however still apply for the old blue cash 5% capped card.

There's no OBC versus NOBC. It's just the OBC (what the OP is calling the NOBC). The OBC isn't defunct though I have no idea if AmEx will PC to it. Best way to find out is to call and ask.
