Why does anyone in their right mind even have and or spend on this card?

I looked on the website to see how many I had earned from using my loyalty card elsewhere, and saw 32 points for a $320 Macy's purchase.

That's 0.1%.

I guess Mobil is the way to earn at 1 cent/gallon. That's at least about 0.4%,

I was at a Chili's and figured I might as well enter my phone number on the food/games/payment kiosk in case the program had improved.

I looked at the Plenti balance today...I got 25 stinking Plenti points on a $60-something meal.

Better than Macy's, at least...but still lousy.

I've kept up with it just to get points from the Hulu offers. I just build them up until I eventually get something from Macy's. They haven't been as consistent as they used to be, but still it's an easy way to earn points without spending anything...which means I'm sure they'll go away completely sooner or later.

I'm surprised they still have this card / introduced it in the first place. It's like a trick and I think it makes them look bad in a lot of ways.

I'm still not getting credit for the "watch to earn" shows or setting up devices. I've tried re-linking the Hulu and Plenti accounts multiple times to no effect.

Part of what bugs me is that the Plenti offers I get are generally very short-term, with some just running for a week or two before they are replaced by the same or very similar offers. I've probably gone to Chili's three times in the 12 months, but haven't gotten bonus points because I hadn't logged into Plenti in the week before each visit to add the latest promotion. Regular Amex offers last longer, and are in a place I'm already checking. On their regular cards, Amex may limit the frequency of good offers, but doesn't play the game of making people essentially revive their existing offers every few days.

The way Plenti does their promotions, they really screw over anyone who just wants to occasionally save a little money. It seems the program is designed to be virtually useless to anyone who doesn't check it constantly.

Eating at Chili's? Check
Have my phone? Check
Have my Plenti password? For a change, yes!

...Have a Chili's offer? For a change, no.

The uselessness continues!

Right now if you pay for gas using the Speedpass+ app you get $20 in Plenti points after your third 10-gal+ fill-up.

They don't show my lifetime savings, but I know I have earned at least $200 since the program has started just from AT&T, Macy's, Exxon, and dining rewards. I know sometimes it doesn't amount to much, but the savings can add up with a proper bonus offer.
