UBS Select American Express

Postby NYC145 » Tue Mar 16, 2010 9:35 pm

Hi all, my first post here and wanted some opinions.
I'm a UBS client for a while and just requested a debit card for my account, and turns out its an amex. Just curious if it's an actual amex, ie. am I considered by them to be a cardholder?

No, if it's a debit card that just means it operates over American Express' payment networks, it's not an actual American Express card. The same thing can be said about B of A American Express, etc. They only operate over American Express payment networks.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed and linked to. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.

Current Cards:
American Express: Blue Cash, Simply Cash Bank of America: WorldPoints Platinum Plus Chase: Amazon, British Airways, Cash Plus Rewards, Freedom, Ink Cash Citi: Thank You Premier, Dividend Platinum Select Discover: More
Primary Everyday Card: American Express Blue Cash
Primary Travel Card: Chase Sapphire Preferred
