Well in Canada where the switch already happened Cap One has an exclusively branded Costco Mastercard,

But it looks like all Mastercards are accepted.

No idea until AmEx announces details. If you want speculation there's plenty on the various credit sites.

I don't think the Costco card was that competitive for rewards. 3% gas ($4k cap), 2% travel, 2% Restaurants, 1% everything else. It basically had an annual fee of $55 considering you had to have a paid Costco membership.

Hopefully they will just add 2% travel and restaurants to the Blue Cash card and call it a day.

You make it sound like the Costco membership is an expensive inconvenience necessary to get the card.

I'm sure some other people here do think of it that way, but for most Costco members (like myself) the TrueEarnings card is an afterthought to membership.

Edit: If Costco was keeping Amex, then I would be going for an EDP for sure.

Really if you're going to have a Costco membership anyway, the credit card is pretty much a no brainer. Well I guess I should say "was". lol

I have a BJ's Membership and I have their Perks Elite credit card. It costs only slightly more than the regular membership would anyway, but I get 5% back at BJ's, 10c off each gallon of gas, 2% on dining and gas, it's not bad for a membership I would have anyway.

Gotta wonder what the new rewards structure will be w/Citi in the picture. I for one hope it involves TYP for use on the Prestige at 1.6X for AA ticket.
