My newest AmEx, Platinum, is my 3rd charge card with AmEx (had a PRG, closed. Green, closed. Now Plat.) I also have 2 revolvers with AmEx. This is my FIRST AmEx to end in 1001.

Disappointed after getting my first two amex, they end in -1006 and -1007. Might seem dumb, but really wanted the -1001 after reading this a while back.

AmEx ED: $4500 (02/15)
AmEx PRG: NPSL (02/15)
AmEx SPG: $2000 (06/15)

Marriott: $5000 (01/16)
Ritz Carlton: $13,500 (09/15)
