fine hotels

Postby MB131174 » Sat Jan 03, 2015 7:15 am

So do any of you platinum card holders use the fine hotels website? I looked at it and browsed the cities I travel to, and to be honest, I doubt I'll ever use it. The hotels are a little rich for my blood. I can get a really nice room at a Hyatt for way less than these hotel prices. Are there any little known but useful hotel benefits from the plat card? I just can't justify (or afford) most of those hotel prices, and I'm afraid this is the first benefit I don't see getting any value from. I hope it's not one of several.

I have used it a couple times, you do have to shop it though, sometimes the FHR benefit is a great deal if you are looking for something nicer, other times it's not so much.

I use it for 50% of my hotel stays.

The benefits are only nice if you actually use them.

I'm actually on a FHR trip right now in Toronto. The third night free promotion they had for The Ritz-Carlton, suite upgrade and $100 credit alone just paid for the annual fee of my card.
