thanks all. sounds like the move is to PC on the thirteenth month anniversary of when i got my Green Card. I understand you guys mentioned the underwriting is the same for any of the charge cards but is there any weight given to ones history with AmEx when i elect to PC? i imagine there is but i could be wrong. Also, if i wait until the 13th month, that will mean i will incur the annual fee for the Green Card no? I'd like to avoid that and move to the Platinum, hopefully with the first year $450 fee waived. Thoughts?

No experience here, but I believe to get the waived first annual fee and introductory bonus you must apply for a new account.
EX - 804 (10/16) | TU - 803 (10/16)
Primary Cards:
American Express EveryDay - $20,000 (10/14)
Discover it - $23,000 (2/14)
AU on Barclay Sallie Mae - $10,000 (8/15)
plus several store accounts of varying usefulness now

I don't think the Plat annual fee is ever waived first year.
