Let me see if I understand you correctly. You had ONE lousy flight with Delta and you're ready to give up a perfectly good credit card as a result? Lost to the logic there. But, if you want to give the card up, it looks to me like you'll just have to apply for a different Amex card and take your chances. There are plenty of people here and in the world that have more than one Amex card, so it isn't like that's stopping you. Go for it and good luck!
