SUCCESS!!! I just got approved for an Amex PRG!!!! So excited. It's been a long road back.
Thanks to everyone here for all their support.
Capital One secured opened May 2012 -- $1401 ($1200 of my own money to increase limit) I will be closing this as soon as I qualify for an AMEX Simply Cash business card (hopefully this summer).
Amex PRG opened Nov 2014 -- No preset spending limit
Chase Freedom Nov 2014 -- $4000
Bank of America Cash Rewards Nov 2014 -- $2500

Awesome! I'm so happy you were able to get what you wanted. Amex is a great CC company to work with by far. They really gave me a chance at handling higher credit limits too before I got in with Chase. Their customer service is usually pretty spot on too.

Thank you!! Now I'm looking at a revolver to complement the charge card. Can't wait to close my secured Cap One. It served a purpose, but it's time to part ways.

You'll feel good once you're able to dump the rebuilder cards. What other Amex cards are you considering?

Haven't really thought about it yet. Possibly the Blue Everyday.
