I like it better than the charge cards, personally - again, just from a design perspective. You have to strip away all the connotations that come with the super-special, exclusive Centurion.

Okay my BCE got here today in the mail and it was like I was expecting. It's virtually the exact same design as the Amex ED except the square in the middle is a light blue color. I'd say it's pretty passable and I actually don't mind the clear look at all and I like how the security code on the front is easier to see than the ED's. Just like the ED card, it comes with an EMV chip too.

I had a new BCP issued to me this week because my old one was completely worn out and peeling apart into two pieces. My new one seems to be of better quality than the one that was issued to me a few years ago. The Platinum Card doesn't feel thicker or better quality at all IMO. Could be a grass is greener thing. The CSP is by far the nicest card I have, physically speaking, followed by the SPG.
Amex Platinum
Amex BCP 21K
Amex SPG 5K
Barclaycard Arrival Plus WEMC 5K
Chase Sapphire Preferred 23.5K
Credit Union 10K
Discover IT 7.75K

I'm surprised you don't have a Freedom, given that you already have a CSP. Do you plan to get one, or do you find the 5% categories too similar to Discover to bother?

Or you have one but just don't list it?
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG, Prestige (retention)
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt
SD with activity alerts, might close: Arrival

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech, BofA Travel PH, Aviator Red

I don't have one yet, but I have been thinking about it. I have two other cards not listed but plan on cancelling them soon, and probably some others. I'm trying to get down to 3 or 4 cards for simplicity purposes, but I know that it plays well with CSP. I just can't decide what needs to go. Platinum will be looked at in May, I'll probably only break even on it this year, so it's a contender. The credit union Visa and the Arrival + will probably go too, so once I cancel those four, I may spring for a Freedom. I have a Southwest Premier Card from Chase also, it's going to go I think. If I'm not mistaken, I should be able to transfer that credit line onto my CSP.
