A Centurion or maybe a Platinum or Palladium can impress a gold-digging date. Just keep an eye out for attractive tennis coaches.

A CSP can impress a college student who waitresses part-time. You know you're in the big leagues when someone who drives a $10k car is impressed with your metal card.

The last time I was impressed with a credit card? When someone treated me to Chipotle and used a Cash+ as his designated card for eating out.

ROFL he can always say it's a placeholder for when the real one comes :)

I`m curious to see that but its funny seeing him try to impress others when he`s about to pay with his PRG making obvious with his wallet that he "has" a platinum business...

You guys might be surprised but the Amex EDP gets comments.

My Amex Gold and Platinum cards have never gotten even a second glance. So I've never met anyone who they impressed.

The card that got the most comments was the CSP, followed by the Amex EDP. I don't remember any other cards I have had getting any second glances, other than the black Associated card I had, which caused one person to take a second look apparently wondering if it was "the" Amex black card. (Sad to say it's not!).

I should dress shoddily, go to a liquor store where I'm unknown, and instead of my usual malbec, pinot noir, or riesling, buy some bum wine with my PRG.

I also need to get some serious leather attire before doing the Humane Society Discover / leather wallet stunt for the full effect.

Great ideas!

Dressing down and looking unruly and walk into a high end store and buy high end clothing.

Pay with card and refuse to show ID. Tell them that's why there is PIN. I know the pin and there is no need for ID.

Make a fuss and then have them call centurion customer service. I clear that and then give them hell really loudly in the store claiming discrimination.

Oh, I'd show them my ID without any delay.

I'm not going for the 'stolen card' impression.
