$40 credit from American Express!

Postby nismoZtuner » Mon Sep 15, 2014 5:21 pm

So I just got home about 40 minutes ago. I was checking on my mail and saw I finally received my court refund for beating my first traffic ticket and also mail from amex.. so I opened the Amex envelope first since I know the court one is refund. So the Amex notice is telling me I received a credit because of an offer that was ttaken down, but because I saved the offer they are still giving me a $40 credit just like that.

Really sweet, I have a habit of logging into my Amex account and just save all the offers Amex has- guess it paid off haha

Whoa! I need to try that. That's pretty cool.

Just saved like 31 offers right now. I've never bothered that much to save much of them because there wasn't really a whole lot I'd actually use.

I just found out something sucky. I saved all the offers on my Platinum, then moved on to my EveryDay card... No more offers. Turns out you can only have the offer on one card at a time. :(

I saw someone opening different browser windows and enrolled the same offer on multiple cards.

I, too, need to start doing that. I rarely save an offer because, quite frankly, they all suck. Most are for places I've never heard of or for services I would never use. Wish they'd have some more offers that us regular folks may find useful. Like a Netflix credit or more gas credits. Maybe even a restaurant of your choice on a certain date. Like a Tuesday.

I feel exactly the same way. The only one I've used so far was one for Dunkin Donuts and got 5 dollars cash back on that.

Same opinion here. I did get a $25 for a $300 purchase at Best Buy and used it to buy a laptop for my fiancee.
