None of my cards have really high utilization right now at all so I see what you're getting at there.

The thing is...both of our credit histories are pretty short and volatile...some low-ish limits and lots of accounts less than a year old...so it can be hard to pinpoint what causes a FICO to change. Perhaps an unusually high statement balance? One too many inquiries or an inquiry getting older? So much is going on that trying to track every change in a FICO isn't likely to give an accurate answer.

Update on the reconsolidating CL Amex situation.

They told me that I'd have to have at least one card open for like 12 months before anything like that would be possible and got declined for the request because of it. I had no idea in all honesty but it seems to work similarly to getting a PC and what not but I think I'll be content putting most of my spending on the EveryDay card and running a purchase through the Delta one every once in a while to keep it active.

Really just putting most of my spending onto bigger limit cards like that and only occasionally using others seems to be the way I'm gonna have to go about this for now.

Also I randomly found out what my spending ability on the charge card is as of now. It's actually a little bit greater than the limit for my ED card at around 2500 dollars though I suspect if I put like 2600 or 2700 dollars that it might be approved as well. Tried putting 3000 into the spending ability button and it came back with a message saying that it would not be approved. Of course I would probably never charge that much on a single purchase especially without telling Amex first but it's good to know just what my limits are.
