I think the fast delivery is a perk only the charge cards get (and maybe high-AF credit cards like Delta Reserve).

My BCE came in four days through the regular mail in a very unexciting envelope.
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

Interesting. Understandable though.

I have to admit I am sad about the ED offer coming now though.

I'm confused. Was the offer you got for the BCE or ED?

Edit: Perhaps Amex might replace the no/low AF credit cards quickly when lost or stolen. Or they might be fast in getting the first Amex out to each cardholder, whatever kind of card it is. When I already had a PRG working, maybe they just felt it wasn't urgent to get the BCE out quickly. My PRG did come in two business days as well.

My PRG was shipped for overnight but amex did not include my apartment letter which was very stange.. so I had to give it another 2 days for amex to fix the issue with UPS..

but when I asked for a replacement card with the EMV both my PRG and BCE were shipped over night!

I asked Chase for expedited shipping on my card and it came within two business days through UPS for free. Not as fast as Amex but I was still happy to have gotten the card in the mail this past Monday.
