I bought a shotgun case that was really cheap and it is already coming apart around the zipper, it's been just over 90 days now and I am hoping they will still honor it, although I would understand if not. Does anyone have experience calling past the deadline? I actually tried calling about a week ago but couldn't wait on hold so I had to hang up after five minutes. I wonder if they can see that I tried calling earlier.
Well to start that would not be purchase protection as the item was not lost, stolen, damaged.
That is a warranty issue. What was the original warranty period? Probably 90 days and Amex doubles the warranty so it should be covered under warranty protection.
I also recommend filling out the form online (I assume one exists for warranty, I know it does for purchase protection as I have done it) vs calling in.
