So I pulled the trigger.....

I received an invitation to apply with Amex so I made sure I had multiple frosty beverages, then I app'd for the BCE card. Approved with a 2k limit. But waiting on the "please wait while we process your application" screen almost was too much.
My Wallet:
Discover IT - $4000;
AMEX BCE $12000;
Citi Double Cash - $6600;
CHASE AARP Visa - $5000;
Banana Republic $1200;
NFM - $20,000;
Sears (Citi) MC - $6000;

It's a foot in the door and the start of your backdating. Don't forget the 61 day 3X CLI attempt. Just a word of advice to the wise - make sure your credit is good and everything is in order in the time between now and then, because they use the last soft pull they have of you to help determine whether you get it or not.
