How do you dispute illegal tax charges?
In California, Subway is not supposed to charge tax on sandwiches you get to go. Only if you eat there do you pay tax. I've talked to managers and everything about this.
Some of the locations illegal just enter every order as "Dine In" on the register so you get charged tax. That extra 8 1/2% adds up over time. How do you go about disputing this or reporting it? I'm really sick of them nickle and diming everyone illegally like that. If I made a complaint wouldn't they reverse all the charges? I don't want that, just the tax reversed but most importantly to teach them a lesson to stop doing it to customers.
